Portrait - Marilyn Monroe

This is a portrait I have just finished, it only took about and hour and a half, which I was happy with. I think that she has turned out quite well, maybe I like it better than my first portrait of Marilyn (which is in an earlier post) I hope that you think so too!

This is great Lauren. I like it better than the first, but I am a graphite fan, so biased. More graphite drawings please.

Well done! You got that "hey big boy, come on over an' kiss me" look on her face PERFECTLY! That's a subtle expression that's hard to pull off, without it looking all smutty, y'know what I mean?

Thankyou all SO much!
You have all inspired me to do some more graphite portraits... any suggestions as to who is next are welcome!

Doesn't matter who, Lauren. Draw whomever, we don't care really. How about posting to IMBIBE as well. You could start doing some portraits of local illustrators - how about that bloke whose work you have make look good?
