Ziggy Stardust

Click on the images to see it larger - it looks better that way!!
The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars is one of my favourite albums. And, in the enclosed booklet features one of my favourite Bowie photos - I just had to sketch it! The top image is my original drawing, which I then scanned and did my digital thang with!!

Speaking of the devil, did you catch the new cop drama on the ABC last night re "Life on Mars" with Bowie's music as its theme? Interesting concept and a well made BBC production.

No I didn't, it sounds good - will it be a weekly thing? I shall have to watch it next time!
Thanks, Graham.

Nicely done. I really like your illustrative style (as well as your subject matter). Afraid I'm showing my age by confessing this, but Ziggy Stardust was the first record I ever bought.

Great work on the Tall Thin Duke! Huge props to you and to Mr. Bowie!

Yep, its a weekly show, kind of twisted and unusual with the hero in a coma and all the action taking place 30 years back in time - apparently all in his head, but may be not...[insert spooky music here]

I LOVE Bowie! This is a cool portrait. You definitely got his cheekbones and rail-thin body! He is and always has been such a strange/interesting-looking guy. I wish I had half of his style.

You should post this on the David Bowie Myspace page. I bet he would get a kick out of this.

Yeah, I always loved that, too. Very nice likeness, and I like the background color with it.
